Hundreds of Athletes Compete in State Tournament
2017 Special Olympics Alaska Bowling Tournament November 17-19
ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Thousands of bowling pins will be knocked down as Special Olympics Alaska athletes compete in the 2017 Special Olympics Alaska Bowling Tournament. The Bowling Tournament is expected to draw more than 200 athletes, coaches and volunteers to Eagle River November 17-19. The following six communities will be competing in the bowling tournament: Anchorage, Homer, Juneau, Kodiak, Mat-Su Valley and Tanana Valley.
The Bowling Tournament will commence with an Opening Ceremony on Friday, November 17 at 2:15 p.m. at Eagle River Bowl. Three days of exciting competition will conclude with a Closing Ceremony on Sunday, November 19 at 2:30 p.m. at Eagle River Bowl. Please see the overall schedule below for more information.
