Habitat for Humanity Breaks Ground on New Home in Mountain View
[ANCHORAGE] (July 5, 2017) Habitat for Humanity Anchorage will break ground on their next new construction project, located at 233 Taylor Street in Mountain View, on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 11:30am. Habitat for Humanity Anchorage invites their supporters to join them in kicking off the next affordable housing project and revitalization of Mountain View. In just a few months, this house will have a family selected and they will begin to work on their 250-500 sweat equity hours.
This housing project is funded by Habitat’s 100 Women – a group of ladies who each donate $1,000 annually to provide a significant amount of funding for construction – as well as, FedEx and Spinell Homes, LLC. “We are honored to be able to provide this opportunity to a family in need. Thanks to our supporters, the funds raised allow us to offer a hand-up to a hard- working family” said, Elaine Phillipps, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity Anchorage.
Please join us to celebrate the ground breaking of Habitat’s next affordable housing project which will be home to a family in need by spring 2018.
