Celebrate Philanthropy in Alaska 11-07-17

(Anchorage, ALASKA) – The Association of Fundraising Professionals - Alaska Chapter will hold its annual Alaska Philanthropy Day on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Dena’ina Center in Anchorage, Alaska. This year we celebrate the chapter’s 30th year educating and supporting professional fundraisers who work across the State of Alaska developing resources for our non- profit sector. Two main events happen that Friday.

First, the entire day is an important one for our AFP – Alaska Chapter members to hold our annual business meeting, elect incoming board members, and host an educational conference where members network and learn about new industry topics. Dedicated to unparalleled client service, Martha providences executive campaign counsel, and comprehensive major gifts strategy, training and coaching. Named Outstanding Professional Fundraiser of the Year by the Association of Fundraising Professionals DC Chapter, Martha has been working with the and within the non-profit organization for 25 years.

Second, the Alaska Philanthropy Day Awards Luncheon is an important time from 11:30 am- 1 pm, when our community members join the chapter to honor amazing work of our philanthropic community. This year’s event will highlight the following award winners:
