WTC Anchorage Executive Director Speaks at Arctic Conference in May
Dear Members & Friends of the Center:
On May 25th, Greg Wolf, Executive Director of WTC Anchorage, spoke at "The Arctic Conference", being held as part of the Centrallia event in Winnipeg, Canada. Wolf participated in a panel discussion with other business and government executives. His presentation was entitled "Alaska: Commercial Gateway to the American Arctic".
and highlighted Alaska's advantages and attributes for companies seeking to do business or invest in the American Arctic.
More than 400 business leaders and government officials were in attendance for Wolf's presentation. Other presenters included, The Honorable James Gordon Carr, Canada's Minister of Natural Resources, The Honorable Monica Ell-Kanayuk, Minister of Economic Development of Nunavut, Chris Reynolds, Senior Principal for Stantec, Timo Rautajoki,, President of the Lapland Chamber of Commerce, Thomas Mogensen, Consultant for the Greenland Business Association and Mika Mered, Managing Partner of Polarisk Group.
