VOICE Conducts Polling Survey / Issues Open Letter to NSB Residents

Letter to North Slope Borough residents

Published:

Voice of the Arctic Iñupiat

In 2015, Voice of the Arctic Iñupiat was established with the purpose of providing local advocacy and engagement from the Iñupiat people to state, federal and international forums addressing Arctic issues.

During our first full calendar year since formation,
VOICE has undertaken dozens of efforts to protect the interests of Arctic Slope Iñupiat. While many of these issues remain and there’s considerable work to be done, we would like to highlight some of the advocacy issues we’ve engaged in and that we will continue to work towards in 2017.

We want to hear from you!

VOICE is conducting an extensive telephone survey to help us identify key issues affecting Arctic communities. Your voice makes a difference so if you’re a North Slope Borough resident who has not yet received a call but would like to participate in the anonymous survey, please contact us with your phone number at info@thrivealaska.com.

Individual survey results and all contact information remain strictly confidential. Thank you in advance for your time and effort in helping to bring a strong Iñupiat voice to decisions affecting our region.

Quyanaqpak!
