Ahtna, Inc. Acquires AAA Valley Gravel
Company has served Southcentral Alaska gravel and asphalt needs for 30 years
Anchorage, Alaska – Ahtna, Incorporated is pleased to announce the recent acquisition of AAA Valley Gravel, LLC, a sand and gravel mining, trucking, and asphalt operation strategically located to support transportation projects in the Matanuska-Susitna Valley. “The Mat-Su Valley is a prime area for increased highway spending due to its rapid growth and Ahtna is excited to help support planned development in the region and create jobs for our shareholder-owners and local workforce,” said Tom Maloney, Ahtna Netiye’ CEO.
AAA Valley Gravel, LLC is headed by David O’Donnell, who is also President of Ahtna Construction and Primary Products, Inc., and is headquartered in Palmer, AK. The company has served the Mat-Su Boroughs’ and Anchorage Municipality’s commercial and residential needs for 30 years with its gravel pit and asphalt operations.
