Seasoned aviation executive tapped to lead Ravn

Ravn Air Group (“Ravn”), a leading provider of air transportation and logistics services in Alaska, announced today that it has tapped one of the airline industry’s most experienced executives to grow Alaska’s largest airline. Dave Pflieger will join Ravn as its new president, chief executive officer and member of its board of directors. Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center re-opened

The Juneau District Ranger has re-opened the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center and all connected trails for the remainder of today, after closing this morning to support the Juneau Police Department’s investigation of a break-in. The site and surrounding trails were closed for visitor safety earlier this morning when security cameras caught someone breaking in to the visitor center and the Discovery Southeast bookstore within.
