ANCHORAGE — Alaska’s Adult Protective Services unit is holding its annual resource fair for vulnerable adults and their friends, family and caregivers this Friday.

- Presentation of the Community Service Award given annually by Adult Protective Services
- Provider information booths
WHEN: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday, Sept. 5, 2014
WHERE: BP Energy Center, south of the BP Building, 900 E. Benson Blvd.
WHO: Speakers: Tom Inglehart and Brandon Williams, NAMI Anchorage, the local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness; Kara Thrasher-Livingston, Alaska Division of Senior and Disabilities Services
Similar fairs will be held in Juneau on Sept. 19 and Fairbanks on Sept. 25. The Juneau fair will be shown regionally by videoconference.
