Let's Talk Anchorage
Announcing a new community conversation program at the Loussac library.
Local group Let’s Talk Anchorage will begin a series of public conversations in partnership with the Anchorage Libraries. The first in the series, focusing on the topic of Violence in America, will take place in the Ann Stevens Room of the Loussac Library on Tuesday, October 8, from 6 to 8 pm. The public is invited.
This will be the first in a weekly series of community dialogues on current issues facing Alaska and the nation. Called Let’s Talk at the Loussac the series will run every Tuesday evening from October 8 through November. Each session will be facilitated to ensure respectful, thoughtful discussions that seek to clarify the often contentious, confusing and complex public issues of the day.
Engage in a respectful conversation, share your knowledge and learn what others think.
The public is invited to help create this new program – Let’s Talk at the Loussac – where citizens create public knowledge by talking, listening, and learning about current issues impacting Alaska.
