Trails Program to Hold Teleconference to Assist Grant Applicants
(Anchorage, AK) - The Alaska State Trails Program will hold a public teleconference to assist all potential Recreational Trails Program (RTP) grant applicants with their application questions on Oct. 8 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. New and experienced applicants are welcome to join the conversation.
The teleconference will inform applicants about programmatic expectations and restrictions, and what constitutes a successful application. Learn about project eligibility, important deadlines, how to collect letters of support, and the role of the advisory board. Other topics include changes in reporting and billing requirements and expectations, new items for consideration on the Environmental Review Checklist, and efficient coordination with the Office of History and Archaeology.
“This teleconference will be a valuable forum for all applicants to the Trails Program. We envision this public discussion helping organizations to submit complete application packages and have increased funding success,” said Darcy Harris, Alaska State Trails Program Coordinator.
