Public Open House Meetings Regarding Sterling Highway MP 45-60


(Anchorage, Alaska) The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities will hold two Public Open House Meetings to present updates on the Sterling Highway MP 45–60 Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement process. Please join us to learn more about the project’s status, the alternatives under consideration, proposed mitigation measures, and next steps.

 Wednesday, September 12, 2012, 4:30 to 8:00 p.m., Presentation at 6:00 p.m.—Cooper Landing Community Club, Bean Creek Road, Cooper Landing

Tuesday, September 18, 2012, 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. Presentation at 6:00 p.m.—DOT&PF Conference Room, 4111 Aviation Drive, Anchorage

The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities oversees 254 airports, 11 ferries serving 35 communities, 5,619 miles of highway and 720 public facilities throughout the state of Alaska. The mission of the department is to Get Alaska Moving through service and infrastructure.
