Elders & Youth Conference Opportunities
We Need Your Help in Making the Elders & Youth Conference a Success!
The conference will take place in Anchorage, AK at the Dena’ina Civic & Convention Center Monday, October 15 – Wednesday, October 17, 2012. This year’s theme is: “Native Knowledge: Respecting and Owning our Living Culture.” There are a few deadlines approaching. Please see below for further information. Great opportunities to participate, gain exposure, and reach our audience base of up to 1,500 youth and Elders across the state!

Conference Bag Materials
If you would like to donate promotional materials in our conference bags, we are making 1,200 bags. Examples of promotional items are: pens, hand sanitizers, coupons, chap stick, sticky pads, etc. Due by delivery/mail on Monday, Oct. 8, 2012.

Call for Alaska Native Veteran Photos
First Alaskans Institute will recognize our Alaska Native Veterans with an honorable presentation at the conference. We encourage everyone to help us produce a special tribute to those who served our country by submitting photos of Alaska Native Veterans. You can mail copies of original photos, or e-mail scanned or digital photos (no fax) to: Ella Tonuchuk, First Alaskans Institute, 606 E St., Suite 200, Anchorage, AK 99501, email@example.com.
