It all started with a vision…
Four years ago, Scott Davis, owner of Davis Block & Concrete (DB&C), had a vision to relocate his lifelong business – a local concrete block plant in downtown Soldotna – to their gravel pit location on Kalifornsky Beach road.
Previously occupying prime riverfront property, the new 38,000 square foot block production facility stands majestically at its 80 acre aggregate quarry off of Ciechankski Road. Nearby, a new corporate office and showroom including an outdoor patio show space offers clients a first class experience.
“It was time for us to us to consolidate our business, and have our whole operation in one central location. We out grew the Soldotna location years ago”, Davis said.
DB&C produces concrete masonry units, retaining wall block, ready mixed concrete, precast products while also mining all aggregate onsite. Current project DB&C are supplying include the UAA Career Center in Soldotna, North Muldoon Sam’s Club and they recently completed the supply of concrete for the Fire Island Wind project.
