DNR taking bids for October 31 agricultural land sale
(Fairbanks, AK) - The Division of Mining, Land and Water, in cooperation with the Division of Agriculture, is taking bids for a 637-acre parcel of agricultural land in Interior Alaska. The land will be sold to the highest bidder during sealed-bid auction on Oct. 31. This parcel is subject to a 60-acre clearing requirement and agricultural covenants. The minimum bid has been set at $57,500 following a fair-market value appraisal.

Potential purchasers are encouraged to thoroughly review the sale brochure and personally inspect the parcel prior to the auction. Bidders must include five percent of their bid when submitting a bid for a parcel. The brochure provides instructions on submitting a bid and for bidder qualifications and procedures.
