  • ‘Nutritional Alaskan Foods for Schools’ grant - A common question we have been getting: ‘Who is USDA certified that processes AK Grown meat?’

There are four USDA certified meat processing facilities in Alaska.  Please call the facilities directly for more information about product availability, pricing, etc…

  • Did you know that being involved with a Farm to School initiative is one of the ways to meet the new criteria in the Healthier US School Challenge (HUSSC)?  USDA and the alliance for a healthier generation are hosting a webinar to explain more about they are working together to streamline award recognition in both programs.  The webinar is on Tues.
