UIC Announces New Directors of Risk Management and HSET
Erin Sedor has been named Director of Risk Management for Ukpeaġvik Iñupiat Corporation (UIC). Ms. Sedor, who is a Certified Paralegal and holds a professional certification in business resiliency, has more than 18 years of risk management experience, and administers all insurance and risk management programs and policies for the UIC family of companies. Prior to joining UIC, Ms. Sedor worked in risk management for Cook Inlet Region, Inc. She holds an MBA in risk management as well as bachelor's degrees in organizational management and managerial finance.
Ryan Taylor has been named Director of Health, Safety, Environment & Training (HSET) for Ukpeaġvik Iñupiat Corporation (UIC). Mr. Taylor has 10 years of experience in the health and safety field and is responsible for the management and oversight of UIC's internal and client HSET programs. Prior to joining UIC, Mr. Taylor was the HSET Manager for UMIAQ, a UIC subsidiary. Mr. Taylor has an excellent record of improving processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational HSET requirements, and has worked with many organizations to foster a culture of safety, emphasizing behavior-based safety management and proactive safety measures.
