The Alaska Migratory Bird Co-management Council Will Conduct Fall Meeting September 27-28
The Alaska Migratory Bird Co-management Council will conduct its fall meeting on September 27-28, 2011, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The meeting will be held at the Kaloa Bldg., 1689 C St., Anchorage, Alaska. The Co-Management Council, which includes Alaska Native, State, and Federal representatives as equals, was formed on March 28, 2000 by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service as required by the amended migratory bird treaties with Canada and Mexico. The purpose of the meeting is to identify any conservation concerns that may be addressed for the 2013 season. Members of the public may comment on agenda items at the beginning and end of the session. Copies of the meeting agenda will be available at the meeting.
