Cook Inlet Risk Assessment - Project & Website Update: Advisory Panel Selected
The CIRA Management Team has selected 22 Panel members (14 Primary and 8 Alternate) from almost 50 applicants. The panel's mission is to provide stakeholders' perception of current and future risks posed from maritime transportation transiting through and adjacent to the Cook Inlet.
This panel will operate as an independent entity from the CIRA Management Team. The first meeting of the Advisory Panel and Management Team will be in October in Anchorage, the exact date will depend on the availability of the Panel members. Notice of this public meeting will be placed on the project website.
The Advisory Panel members' information is now posted to the CIRA website. Please take a few minutes to review the project website.
In addition, the Draft Vessel Traffic Study will be posted for public review within the next ten days and will be open for pubic comment and review. Additional information will be distributed once the report is posted to the website.
