Rasmussen poll show Miller leads both candidate in every age and income bracket.

A new poll released by Rasmussen shows Joe Miller with a solid double-digit lead in the Alaskan U.S. Senate race. Miller is pulling 42% of those polled, Murkowski at 27% and Scott McAdams at 25%. Rasmussen conducted the telephone poll of 500 likely voters following Murkowski's entry back in the race last Friday. Miller has experienced a major surge of support following Murkowski's decision to run as a write in candidate. Nearly $200,000 in online donations have flooded into the campaign to help Miller in the three way race.

With these latest poll numbers, Rasmussen has now moved the race from the "Leaning Republican" to "Solid Republican" category. "We feel good about the poll numbers," said Miller campaign manager Robert Campbell. "The results indicate Joe has strong and growing support amongst the Alaskan people. As Joe continues to travel around our state, meeting with more and more people and listening to their concerns, they are finding that they share the recognition that our nation cannot continue on the same course. Joe is running to help turn the nation around and secure the American dream for ourselves and future generations." Miller has the full support and backing of the Republican Party at both the state and national levels.
