Governor Parnell Endorses Joe Miller for U.S. SenateWasilla, Alaska. September 24, 2010 -- Alaska Governor Sean Parnell endorsed Republican nominee for U.S. Senate Joe Miller at a joint campaign event in Wasilla today. Governor Parnell and Miller pledged to work together for the people of Alaska. Governor Parnell said, "I'm here proudly supporting Joe Miller for U.S. Senate. He's a Constitutional conservative and a principled leader that we need [in Washington]."
In response to the Governor's endorsement Miller said, "I'm excited to have Governor Parnell's support for my campaign. I fully support his re-election efforts as well, and I ask all my supporters to do the same. I know that we will be able to work together for a brighter future for the people of Alaska." Miller continued, "A record number of voters participated in this year's primaries for Governor and Senate. They voted for this team and for the future of Alaska, and against the failed policies of the past."
Joe Miller is the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate. Joe is a graduate of West Point and Yale Law School, a decorated combat veteran from the First Gulf War, a former state magistrate and federal magistrate judge. He and his wife Kathleen are the proud parents of eight children and live in Fairbanks where he is a practicing attorney.
