AT&T Launches Campaign to Raise Awareness Around Online Services

"Simplify Your Life" Video Contest Will Give Away $20,000 Grand Prize and $10,000 in Other Cash and Prizes

Dallas, Texas, September 21, 2010 -- AT&T* today announced the Simplify Your Life video contest, an initiative that encourages customers to create and submit videos that show how AT&T's Online Services make life easier. Participants can enter at www.att.com/simplify and have a chance to win awards of up to $20,000. 

Whether it's the ways that Paperless Billing can reduce clutter and improve record-keeping or the security and convenience of AutoPay, ATT.com customers simplify their lives every day by taking advantage of online resources, including Paperless Billing, AutoPay, Account Management and Online Support.

"Our goal in providing online tools is to make our customers' lives easier," said Phil Bienert, vice president, ATT.com. "We love to hear from our customers and are excited to see the creative ways busy lives can be streamlined with online services." 

Prizes will be awarded in two categories: the Community Award and the AT&T Award. The Community Award goes to the video that receives the most votes from site visitors, while the AT&T Award will be selected by a panel of AT&T employees. Visitors are also encouraged to share their favorite videos for a chance to win $1,000 in the Sharing Contest. 

The top prize is $20,000 for first place in the AT&T Award category, with the top 10 entries winning prizes from $3,000 down to $100. Ten people will win prizes in the Community Award category, with the top voted video creator receiving $1,000.

The contest runs through December 1, 2010 and winners will be announced on December 8, 2010.
