McDowell Group Promotes Bailey

(Juneau, AK  September 28, 2009)

McDowell Group recently promoted Tasha Bailey to Research Analyst. Her responsibilities include survey field management, executive interviews, and data compilation and analysis. “Tasha’s responsibilities have grown considerably since she joined the firm,” said McDowell Group principal Jim Calvin. “She has an integral role in ensuring that we produce high quality data and analysis for our clients.”

Bailey began working for the Alaska research and consulting firm in 2005. She was part of the field management team for the Alaska Visitors Statistics Program, a comprehensive survey of business and leisure travelers conducted on behalf of the State of Alaska. She has helped field dozens of telephone, mail, and web-based surveys including projects conducted for the Alaska Giving Coalition, community opinion surveys regarding economic development and infrastructure priorities, surveys for village and regional ANCSA corporations, and several conducted on behalf of the University of Alaska.

Bailey also provides data collection and analysis for a wide array of projects including economic impact analyses, transportation studies, and feasibility studies for public and private infrastructure.

An aspiring Tlingit speaker, Bailey is working toward a B.A. in economics, with an emphasis in Alaska Native Studies. Outside of the office, Tasha likes to travel, spend time with her family, and is captain of McDowell Group's Bowl for Kids' Sake team.

McDowell Group has a full-time staff of 11, offices in Anchorage and Juneau, and an extensive network of survey field staff. Since 1972, McDowell Group has helped community leaders, public agencies, and private companies respond to change and grow.
