Denali Alaskan Opens New Branch in South Anchorage Wal-Mart

Anchorage – Denali Alaskan Federal Credit Union opens its 17thAlaska branch inside the South Anchorage Wal-Mart, at 8900 Old Seward Highway. The full-service branch will offer deposit and loan products and services plus an on-site ATM.  The branch is open seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Stephanie Sherman is the Retail Sales Branch Manager at the new branch. Sherman has been with Denali Alaskan for three-and-a-half years, most recently as the Retail Sales Branch Manager for the Credit Union’s Eagle River Wal-Mart branch.  She is a member of the Ptarmigan Elementary School PTA and also a committee member for the 21st Century After-School Program, in the AnchorageSchool District.

Denali Alaskan Federal Credit Union is the second largest credit union in Alaska for members, with a more than 58,000, and third in largest in assets, at $492 million. The Credit Union’s 17 branches are located in EagleRiver, Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau and Wasilla
