ML&P Power Outage Over
Approximately 4,000 customers were without power last night in the area between Tudor Rd. and Bannister Drive and Lake Otis Parkway and New Seward Highway. Most were restored within a few hours. Some customers in the Rogers Park neighborhood continued to experience outages this morning as crews continued to clear trees in lines. Most of the outage was wind-related; however some equipment broken in the storm was replaced.
Power has been restored to all customers at this time. Any customer experiencing an outage at this time should call the hotline at 279-7671.

ML&P maintains an aggressive tree-trimming program within its utility easement, but tall trees can still come in contact with lines, causing outages, especially in times of high winds or when loaded with snow and ice. ML&P posts information about outages on Twitter and Facebook that can be seen online at www.mlandp.com.
