Coal News and Markets Report: October 7, 2013
The Coal News and Markets Report has been updated for the business week ending October 4, 2013. Prices are for Q1 2014.
Prices were revised to reflect expectations for first quarter 2014. Prices increased in all regions except in Northern Appalachia. Spot prices increased from:
• $60.15 to $65.10 in the Central Appalachia Basin
• $45.65 to $46.15 in the Illinois Basin
• $10.30 to $10.60 in the Powder River Basin
• $35.85 to $35.95 in the Uinta Basin
