Alaska Quarterly Review excerpt published on The New Yorker website
The Alaska Quarterly Review––a distinguished literary magazine published by the University of Alaska Anchorage––recently received unique recognition by a pillar of literary publication, The New Yorker. On its website, The New Yorker has published a major excerpt from Alaska Quarterly Review's fall/winter 2013 edition: 16 pages from Andrea Bruce's "Afghan Americans: A Study in Duality." This recognition of work in AQR brings great honor to UAA and Alaska.
