“Trick or Treat Street” Family Fun in Downtown

October 24, 2012 (Anchorage, Alaska) – FUN, GAMES, PRIZES and MORE!  FREE for the whole family at Trick or Treat Street in Downtown Anchorage on October 27, 2012 from 12:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.

The Anchorage Downtown Partnership, Ltd. is hosting an event where kids of all ages are invited to come downtown to trick-or-treat for candy in a fun and SAFE environment on 4th and 5th avenue!

4th Avenue will be closed from F to L Street to allow families to trick or treat safely.  

New Activities this year include:

• The Skinny Raven Frightening 4K Run & Costume Contest from 11am to 12noon. Dress up, run and win!

• Join Rick Goodfellow and Alaska Dance Theatre for a spooktacular behind the Scenes Ghost Tour at the Performing Arts Center. Call Alaska Dance Theatre for details and tickets, 277-9591.

• The Alaska Experience Theatre will be showing a zombie movie fest in honor of Halloween and Disaster Preparedness month

• Horse drawn hayrides, free hot chocolate, food vendors and many other special games, treats, and prizes will be featured along 4th and 5th avenue at participating merchants. A map of participating businesses can be found in the Anchorage Press.
