The Children’s Lunchbox receives keys to new 2012 Ford Transit

ANCHORAGE – The Children’s Lunchbox, a program of Bean’s Café announces that they will receive the keys to a new 2012 Ford Transit vehicle at the Cal Worthington Ford dealership located at 431 Unga St at 9:00 am on Tuesday October 9, 2012. Upon the recommendation of the local Ford dealership, Ford Motor Company Fund grants new Ford Transits to deserving nonprofits that will use the vehicles for food distribution to the hungry.

The Children’s Lunchbox a local nonprofit feeds children in Anchorage and in the Palmer-Wasilla area. Founded in 1998 it will provide over to 200,000 meals to children in 2012.
