MDA Alaska's An Affair to Remember
Anchorage, October 20, 2012 – The Alaska chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association is hosting “An Affair to Remember” sponsored by Opti Staffing at the Hotel Captain Cook. This evening will feature a silent auction and live auction, dinner, music provided by the band The Council of Smokers and Drinkers, dancing, and hope for a future free of muscle-wasting disease. All of the proceeds from “An Affair to Remember” will benefit Alaskans who receive services through the Alaska Chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association. This event will also honor Alaska Commercial Company’s Alan McCollor for all his work with local nonprofits.
MDA is a voluntary health agency working to defeat neuromuscular diseases through worldwide research, comprehensive services, and far-reaching professional and public health education.
