Human and Sex Trafficking Task Force to Hold Public Hearings in Anchorage and Bethel
Juneau, Alaska – The State of Alaska Task Force on the Crimes of Human Trafficking, Promoting Prostitution and Sex Trafficking will hold public hearings on November 5 and December 13, 2012. The November 5 hearing will be in Anchorage and the December 13 hearing will be in Bethel. The public is invited to provide their observations, concerns and recommendations on the crimes of human and sex trafficking in Alaska.

Time: Monday, November 5, 2012 at 2 p.m.
(public testimony begins at 5 p.m.)
The location and time of the December 13 Bethel public hearing are still being determined.
The task force encourages individuals and organizations to participate in one or both of these public hearings. There will be interpretive services available at the hearing in Bethel. Alaskans can also participate in the Anchorage hearing by calling: 1-855-463-5009. Written testimony may be submitted at any time by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. All written comments must be submitted on or before December 20, 2012.
