Tree Removal and Topping Project at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport

To ensure safety of the flying public, Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport will remove and top trees and brush that create obstructions along the north end of the North/South Runway. The work will likely be completed by the end of the month, though the specific date is weather dependent. The Federal Aviation Administration is also currently reviewing the area and may make additions to the removal list.
