Australia was the world's largest coal exporter and the fourth largest exporter of liquefied natural gas in 2010, after Qatar, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Australia is a net importer of crude oil and refined petroleum products, but a net exporter of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). Hydrocarbon exports accounted for 34 percent of total commodity export revenues in its fiscal year 2009-2010. Australia's dependence on oil imports is projected to increase as domestic consumption increases and production continues to decline.
