Parnell Campaign Applauds Swift Decision by APOCBerkowitz campaign claims against RGA dismissed
Anchorage, AK - Parnell campaign manager Michelle Toohey today released the following statement:
"Today's swift decision by Alaska Public Offices Commission deserves the applause of every Alaskan. The hard work and common-sense analysis by the Commission quickly identified the baseless nature of the APOC complaint filed by the Berkowitz-Benson campaign. Their decision noted that there was not evidence supporting the conclusion the Berkowitz campaign attempted to sell Alaskans.
"While the Parnell campaign was not a party to today's hearing or findings, media reports did note that the Berkowitz-Benson campaign team was attempting to drag both state and campaign staff through the mud. The Parnell-Treadwell ticket will stay focused on Alaska's jobs and Alaska's families in these coming days. I hope this finding is a clear message to the Berkowitz campaign that the Alaska Public Offices Commission is not a vehicle to make wild or false accusations about their opponents."
