Anchorage - The House Special Committee on Energy will meet
Wednesday, Oct. 27 at the Anchorage LIO to learn about the energy
needs for five proposed mines in Alaska.
Representatives from five companies will explain their preliminary
plans to power the mines. The five mining projects are the Chuitna
Coal Project, the Livengood Project, the Pebble Project, the Donlin
Creek Mine and Usibelli's Wishbone Hill Mine.
