DOT&PF to Conduct Juneau Bridge Inspection, Travelers Can Expect Delays

(JUNEAU Alaska) – The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) has scheduled bridge inspections in Juneau next week and is advising travelers of brief, intermittent closures while the work is in progress.

Between 9 a.m., and 6 p.m., Oct. 25, 26 and 27, crews will conduct inspections on the Peterson Creek Bridge on Amalga Harbor Road. There will be one hour periodic closures to vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Bridge inspection equipment will occupy the entire width of the bridge deck.

DOT&PF is reminding the public to proceed cautiously through the area while personnel are working at the location.
