Bristol Design Build Receives Mayoral Proclamation at 2010 Kansas City Build Expo

On September 22, 2010, Bristol Design Build Services, LLC (Bristol Design Build), was presented with a Mayoral Proclamation at the 2010 Kansas City Build Expo, which acknowledged the company’s significant contribution to local economic development. Approximately 15,000 construction professionals attended the event, which was held September 22-23, and featured seminars, exhibitions, and the latest industry products and services.

The Mayoral Proclamation was given to 64 local firms during the ceremony, recognizing them as vital assets to both the community and the construction industry. Bristol Design Build Project Manager Michael Rongone attended the Build Expo as a VIP, and personally accepted the accolade from Kansas City Mayor Mark Funkhouser “This is a significant achievement for Bristol,” said Rongone. “We are proud of our contribution and the success of our team. We look forward to continued involvement in local economic development.”

The Build Expo is the premier show for the building and construction industry, and tours 10 to 12 high-growth metropolitan cities in the U.S. each year to promote thousands of exhibitors and their products and services. The convention has not been held in Kansas City for four years, but event organizers returned this year due to positive economic growth and an increase in local construction projects. This was the first year that Bristol Design Build has attended the conference.
