Anchorage Senior Activity Center Endowment Trust Fund Concludes 25th Anniversary With Thanks For Giving Celebration
The Anchorage Senior Activity Center Endowment Trust Fund is concluding its 25th Anniversary year with a special Thanks For Giving Celebration. Please join us to celebrate the 25th Anniversary and say Thanks For Giving to those who have contributed, and those who would like to contribute to the future of the Anchorage Senior Activity Center.
The reception will be held on Thursday, October 28, from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Anchorage Museum at 625 C Street.
We will be blessed to have Anchorage Museum Director, Jim Pepper Henry, as our keynote program speaker. Jim was with the Smithsonian Institute’s National Museum of the American Indian for eleven years prior to moving to Anchorage to become the Director of the newly expanded Anchorage Museum. The musical attraction will be renowned pianist, Alexander Zlatkovski. Hors d’oevuvres will be catered by The Marx Bros. Café.
We will recognize and thank individuals, families, and businesses who are Endowment Fund donors and Legacy Society Members, as well as announce new donors who give financial gifts or made bequests in celebration of this momentous 25th Anniversary of the Endowment Fund. Thanks to a generous donation from Fred Meyers, the Museum will be free to the public each Thursday between 3:00pm and 9:00pm in the fall and winter. You are welcome to enjoy the exhibits prior to the reception.
The Celebration is open to the public and we invite one and all to attend. Please RSVP by Thursday, October 21, by calling (907) 561-4420. You can also RSVP by e-mailing Jan Knutson at email@example.com. Jan added “With the 25th Anniversary, you celebrate the success of the past and you also look forward to the future to think about ways to leave your own personal legacy.”
