AHFC Kicks Off Loussac Manor Demolition

WHERE:          Loussac Manor, 160 Heintzleman Drive, Anchorage (Located between "A" & "C" and Fireweed & 15th)

WHY:             The 60-unit Loussac Manor public housing family complex was built in 1965 by Alaska State Housing Authority (ASHA), which merged with Alaska Housing Finance Corporation in 1992. Following demolition, at least 120 units will be built on the site by a private developer as a public/private partnership. This is the introduction of the first mixed-income work force housing in Alaska.
