John Coghill brings a wealth of experience to the Senate
(ANCHORAGE, October 22, 2009) – State Senate Republicans met today and unanimously approved the Governor’s appointment of John Coghill to fill the seat left vacant when Senator Gene Therriault left the Senate to take a position as a special assistant to Governor Sean Parnell.
“I have known and worked with John Coghill for many years,” said Senate President Gary Stevens (R-Kodiak). “I am confident that he will be a very effective Senator and a zealous advocate for his constituents.”
