Alaska USA Federal Credit Union to host Operation Best Wishes

Alaska USA Federal Credit Union to host Operation Best Wishes

Anchorage, Alaska—Alaska USA Federal Credit Union is pleased to host Operation Best Wishes, a credit union-sponsored program giving military families an opportunity to record and send video webcast greetings to their loved ones deployed overseas.

Families have up to 10 minutes to share their personal greetings, using the time as they wish—telling stories, bringing loved ones up-to-date with family news, or sharing family moments.  Military personnel stationed overseas view and respond to the messages live through a secure web site, or can access them as archived recordings at a later time.

Operation Best Wishes will be recording webcast greetings in Anchorage at Alaska USA’s C-Street Building on Wednesday, November 18 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

In order to participate, families may sign up for a recording time online at www.operationbestwishes.com where they will also find additional instructions and the location address. If they have questions about how to participate, they can contact Erik Lind, Military Branch Operations Manager for Alaska USA at 646-6042.

Operation Best Wishes is in its sixth national tour.  This year, the program is sponsored jointly by WesCorp Federal Credit Union and the Defense Credit Union Council and, in Alaska, by Alaska USA.
