Alaska Historical Commission to Meet November 9 in Anchorage
(Anchorage, AK) – The Alaska Historical Commission will meet in Anchorage, Monday, November 9, 2009, from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. The meeting will be in the Robert B. Atwood Building, 550 West 7th Ave., Suite 1860, Anchorage, Alaska 99501.
For people who wish to address the members of the commission on matters relating to history and archaeology, the time set for public comment is 10:00 a.m. The agenda includes discussion of Office of History and Archaeology, Alaska Department of Natural Resources, programs, national and state historic preservation issues, and review of geographic name proposals and grant requests from Certified Local Governments.
