Alaska Forum on the Environment, 2014



The 16th annual Alaska Forum on the Environment will be held February 3-7, 2014.  Registration services are now available and registering with a discounted rate will make the best use of your training dollars.  The current discounted rate has been extended through November 22nd only.   Registration is available online at http://www.akforum.org

The Alaska Forum on the Environment (AFE) is a statewide gathering of environmental professionals from government agencies, non-profit and for-profit businesses, community leaders, Alaskan youth, conservationists, biologists and community elders. The diversity of attendees sets this conference apart from any other. The 2014 event will be the 16th year providing a strong educational foundation for all Alaskan's and a unique opportunity to interact with others on environmental issues and challenges.  Over 1,500 people attend AFE to learn more about the environment and meet other Alaskans that work in the environmental field.


Film Festival

film The Alaska Forum on the Environment is proud to announce our 7th Film Festival. We are inviting interested agencies, organizations, as well as individual participants to submit films to be shown at the Film Festival. Films should be current, applicable to the Alaska Forum on the Environment (AFE) and generally not more than 30 minutes in length. Topics are and not limited to:marine debris, coastal issues, climate change, emergency response, environmental regulations, pollution prevention, energy resource-conservation, and rural environmental issues.  AFE must receive your film by January 13th, 2014, in order for it to be reviewed.
