Enroll Alaska is enrolling on Healthcare.gov, subsidy calculation has been corrected.
ANCHORAGE, AK- November 13, 2013- Enroll Alaska, a division of Northrim Benefits Group, has confirmed that the subsidy calculation has been corrected on the Federally Facilitated Marketplace and they are enrolling individuals on healthcare.gov.
Enroll Alaska had suspended enrollments after they identified errors in the calculation. After receiving word from HHS and completing testing on the website, Enroll Alaska can now confirm that the subsidy calculation errors have been corrected and they are fully deploying Enroll Alaska agents across the state to enroll individuals into a health insurance plan that is right for them.
Individuals with household incomes between 100-400% of Federal Poverty Level may be eligible for an immediate federal tax subsidy and need to purchase insurance on the Federally Facilitated Marketplace (healthcare.gov) in order to apply that subsidy to an insurance premium. Individuals have to be enrolled into a health insurance plan by December 15th, 2013 for that plan to go into effect on January 1, 2014.
Enroll Alaska is the go-to resource for questions regarding the ACA. Information can be found at www.enrollingalaska.com or by calling, 1-855-385-5550.
