Annual Community Fall Feast is Tonight in Mountain View

The Children’s Lunchbox is coordinating the annual Community Fall Feast, a free Thanksgiving dinner for the Mountain View community tonight, Thursday, November 21 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Clark Middle School, 150 Bragaw Street, in Anchorage.

This community fall feast is made possible by sponsors Credit Union 1, Mt. View Lions Club, Cook Inlet Housing Authority, Teddy’s Tasty Meats, New Life Development, Shepard Christian Fellowship, New Hope Baptist Church, West Coast Paper, Kriner’s Diner, Great Harvest, and Odom Corporation’s Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Division.

Entertainment is being provided by the Alaska Jazz Workshop under the direction of John Damberg and the Clark Middle School Choir under the direction of Mrs. Ashley Easton-Petito.

The Children’s Lunchbox, a program of Bean’s Café, has been serving meals to hungry children in Anchorage since 1998. The program is the largest non-profit child nutrition program in Alaska and is currently serving over 9,100 meals each week to hungry children in Anchorage.
