Winners announced in $20,000 community donation from Kendall Lexus of Alaska
“Kendall is all about giving back to our community,” said Dana Applebee. “When we set out to introduce the Lexus brand, which is a perfect fit for life in Alaska with unparalleled reliability and available all-wheel drive, we wanted to support local nonprofits that resonate with Alaskans.”
Ten organizations competed with four organizations receiving the majority of the votes and each will receive $5000 each from Kendall Lexus of Alaska:
- Covenant House
- Kids Corps, Inc.
- Challenge Alaska
- Camp Fire Alaska
The award reception will take place at the Kendall Lexus of Alaska showroom at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 8th. The dealership is located at 6930 Old Seward Highway.
Community involvement is a hallmark of the Kendall Cares program, a year-round initiative that serves to give back to nonprofit organizations in Alaska.
