Seven Glaciers Restaurant Offers $49 Tasting Menu on Sundays this Winter


November 27, 2012 (Girdwood, Alaska) – Seven Glaciers Restaurant, the signature dining experience at Alyeska Resort, will offer a $49 prix fixe Chef$B!G(Js Tasting Menu on Sunday evenings throughout the winter season.

Perched atop Mt. Alyeska at 2,300 feet above sea level, the AAA Four Diamond-rated Seven Glaciers is well$B!>(Jrecognized for its unique mountain$B!>(Jtop location. The restaurant is surrounded by seven hanging glaciers, peaks of the Chugach mountain range and views of the Turnagain Arm. The restaurant first opened its doors in 1994 and has continued its tradition of excellence to this date under the tutelage of Executive Chef Jason Porter.

Serving dinner year-round, and lunch during the ski season, Seven Glaciers menus are crafted with an emphasis on locally available produce, seafood and game. The restaurant also boasts an award-winning wine list and full bar. Most recently, the restaurant was awarded the 2011 Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.

The Sunday prix fixe menu will change weekly and will showcase an array of dishes offered by the Executive Chef ranging from seafood to livestock and wild game; vegetarian, gluten-free and children$B!G(Js menus will be available as well.
