Pratt Museum is conducting an online survey. To maximize opportunities presented while plan­ning for a new museum building and site improvements, multiple efforts are underway for various areas of operations. These operations areas include membership, communications, exhibits and education programs. Your input will help maximize the quality of each Pratt’s visitor’s experienc­es. Your input will help ensure that the new facility and its programming meet current and future needs of audiences, in a financially sustainable way, for many years to come. HOLIDAY SALE AT THE MUSEUM STORE
Sale runs through December 23 during museum hours
Pratt Museum Store is holding a holiday sale featuring 30% off selected items through December 23 during regular museum hours, Tuesday through Sunday noon to 5pm, closed Mondays. Mem­bers receive an additional 10% off.

QUILTS UNROLLED AND ONSCREEN
Friday, November 30, 5-7pm, Pratt Museum
In conjunction with the special exhibit History in the Making: Quilts, Quilters and their Stories, the Pratt Museum is excited to present a special, two-fold event on Friday, November 30. Begin­ning at 5pm, the museum will host a special showing of quilts from Pratt Museum’s collections. Visitors will have a chance to see several quilts not normally on exhibit. Following the collections showing, the museum will host a screening of  The Great American Quilt Revival. Narrated by Georgia Bonesteel, The Great American Quilt Revival is the story of how quilts came to be recog­nized as works of art and how the craft of quilting has exploded into popular culture. Quilts Un­rolled and Onscreen is a free event.

PRATT PLAYDATE
Friday, December 7, 10-11am, Marine Gallery
This free family event features hands-on activities designed for babies and toddlers. You are never too young to start visiting the Pratt!

COMMUNITY RECITAL AND QUILT RAFFLE
Sunday, December 9, 1-3pm, Pratt Museum
Enjoy holiday music by the Seaside Singers, the Homer High School Swing Choir and other local musicians. The annual POPS Quilt Raffle Drawing will be held to determine the winners of the gorgeous quilts generously donated by the Kachemak Bay Quilters. Refreshments will be served at this free event.

QUILTS, QUILTERS AND THEIR STORIES

Through December 30, Special Exhibits Gallery
History in the Making: Quilts, Quilters and their Stories is a non-juried show of contemporary quilts. Each piece reflects the rich history of Kachemak Bay and its creator’s connection to the region. Presenting a wide variety of quilting techniques and a diversity of artists, History in the Making reflects our eclectic community through this ever-evolving American art form.

FISH FEEDINGS

Every Tuesday and Friday at 4pm, Marine Gallery         

Help feed the intertidal creatures in the aquaria. Fish feeding is fun, free and all are welcome!
