Johnson Joins Denali Alaskan

Anchorage – Lance Johnson has joined the Denali Alaskan Federal Credit Union staff as Vice President of Internal Audit. In this role Johnson is responsible for managing the Internal Audit Department and ensuring audits and reviews of Credit Union operations and functions are maintained. He is also responsible for assuring that the Credit Union is using resources efficiently, reporting financial results reliably, and complying with applicable laws and regulations.
Johnson has more than 14 years of internal audit experience. Prior to joining Denali Alaskan he was the Internal Audit and Program Manager at Texas Instruments in Dallas, TX.
Johnson received a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University and a Master’s degree in International Management from the University of Texas. He is also a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association. In addition, Johnson holds designations as a Certified Internal Auditor and a Certified Information Systems Auditor.
Denali Alaskan Federal Credit Union is the third largest credit union in Alaska, with more than 57,000 members and assets in excess of $490 million. The Credit Union’s 18 branches are located in Anchorage, Eagle River, Fairbanks, Juneau, Kenai and Wasilla.
