Excellence award for Borough Finance

Mat-Su—For 27 years in a row, the Matanuska-Susitna Borough's Finance Department has achieved an international award. The Government Finance Officers Association of the U.S. and Canada awarded a certificate for excellence in financial reporting for the Borough's comprehensive annual financial report or CAFR. The certificate of achievement is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting.
