AIGA Alaska: Von Glitschka Lecture & Workshop This Weekend

Von is principal of Glitschka Studios and has worked in the communication arts industry for over 26 years. His work reflects the symbiotic relationship between design and illustration. This duality of skills, within his own creative arsenal, inspired him to coin the phrase and title of “Illustrative Designer.”

His talks are a practical and humorous narrative of the design industry, laced with relevant information, diversity of experience, creative insight, sarcasm, geeky references, and inspiring conclusions.

WORKSHOP: I THINK THEREFORE I DRAW
Drawing is your best creative friend. This workshop uses group drawing exercises and concept thinking to help you achieve visual solutions. Learn how to make drawing a regular part of your daily creative routine. Even though you work digitally, your ideas are still best developed in analog form!
